Fixed- term contract for 1 year: 0.8 FTE (Five mornings and three afternoons a week)

 Lydalls Nursery School – Didcot

We are a welcoming, friendly and inclusive Local Authority Nursery school, looking for an enthusiastic teacher to join our team for the next academic year.

We need someone who has experience in working with young children and who believes in respecting each child as an individual, in order for them to develop and reach their full potential.

Our passionate staff team and governors are committed to working together to provide high quality education and care for our children. We believe every child matters and strive to provide rich experiences that support each child’s unique development.

We want to appoint someone who will:

• ensure each child is known, valued and respected.
• plan experiences which provoke children to wonder about the world and to think imaginatively.
• provide varied, enticing environments to encourage independent, exploratory learning through play.
• be experienced and knowledgeable at using close observations of children in order to support their personal interests and needs.
• be dedicated to children’s learning and open to new ideas.
• contribute thoughtful and caring input to the staff team.
