Policies and Procedures

The Nursery School and Daycare are committed to ensuring the highest quality of provision. In order to achieve this the head teacher, staff and governors work together to develop and implement a school development plan. Our practice is underpinned by our aims, and is also guided by a wide range of policies and procedures which are reviewed on a regular basis.

The school improvement plan, school policies, and our most recent OFSTED inspection report are available in the Nursery School entrance hall.

These include policies on:

  • All areas of the curriculum
  • Special Educational Needs
  • Equal Opportunities, including race equality
  • Health and Safety
  • Admissions
  • Charging/Fees
  • Complaints Procedure
  • Child Protection

"The head teacher ensures that the school has a clear educational direction and has strong vision for the further development and on-going improvement of the school...."

"The head teacher has a high level of committment from the other teachers and support staff."

"The aims and values of the school are clearly reflected in its work."

"Staff work very hard to ensure that the links with parents are of the highest calibre."
