Headteacher – Permanent Post FTE 1.0 required from 1st September 2019

We are looking for an exceptional and highly motivated new Headteacher to join our fantastic nursery. We seek a strong leader with a proven, child centred approach (such as the ability to drink numerous pretend cups of tea!) and the ability to challenge, motivate, support and plan ahead at a time of change for Early Years and our Nursery.

The successful candidate will need to:

  • be an excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills and a ‘can do’ attitude
  • be a creative and collaborative leader who is passionate about Early Years education
  • build upon the current success and achievement of Lydalls Nursery School
  • balance longer-term strategic priorities with day-to-day management of a school environment

Casual Bank Staff – Teaching Assistants Early Years Level 2 or 3

We wish to develop a list of caring and enthusiastic bank staff with an early years level three or level two qualification to provide cover for planned and unplanned staff absence in our outstanding nursery school. This could involve working for several days to cover a planned absence or providing occasional cover when staff are ill.

The successful candidate will need to:

  • respond to the individual needs of children
  • contribute to providing an inclusive, responsive, nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 2-5 as part of an established team.
