About the Nursery School

"There is very good provision for children's personal development and they develop very positive attitudes to learning."

"The learning environment is of high quality and offers children an exciting range of purposeful experiences."

Quotes from OFSTED Report May 2002

The Nursery School is open Monday to Friday during term time. Term dates and holiday dates are displayed in the entrance hall, and are also sent home each term in a newsletter.

Your child may be registered for a morning session 9.00am - 11.20am, or an afternoon session 1.00pm - 3.20pm. When places are available children may be offered a full-time rising 5 place, 9.00am - 2.45pm.

Full-time children receive a school lunch for which there is a charge. Special dietary needs may be accommodated.

There is NO charge for Nursery School sessions. However, we do ask for a small weekly donation to help purchase expendable resources.

The Nursery School and Daycare staff work closely with each other. The Nursery School works in partnership with local pre schools and primary schools to ensure continuity of provision.
